Cheat Codes!

As you build the Beta for breakout you will find that playing through your game to test the victory condition is painfully time consuming. In the directions you'll find that I created a hack or cheat by changing the score required for a victory. This sort of thing is often used by programmers. Ever here of the Konami Code? Have you used warps in Mario? These are all examples. The videos below will explain.

Dog Fooding?!?

Have I lost my mind?! Am I just spouting out random words?!? Nope, this is a form of internal testing used by tech and software companies What is it? the video to the left explains. It can be used to catch cheat codes that were left by accident as well as many other things.
